DOCKING AND LOADING/UNLOADING OPERATIONS

AUTOMATED DOCKING STATIONS THAT ELIMINATE DOWNTIME

Automated docking stations minimise AMR downtime during loading and unloading operations. Rather than pallets being loaded manually into the load compartment during the loading process, the automated dock allows the entire batch of pallets to be prepared in advance, before the AMR arrives. A similar approach is followed during unloading: the pallets are unloaded directly onto the dock’s conveyors in a single operation, allowing the AMR to be dispatched immediately on a new mission.

This optimises the AMR’s cycle time, enhances operational safety and relieves pressure on forklift operators.
